What A Mess...
Eight years later, in the middle of a never ending war, part of a global recession, the rest of the world hating our government, 1.2 million jobs lost, the worst financial crisis since the great depression, can it get any worse than this?
About the only thing that's actually improved is that you can actually purchase gasoline for $2.33 a gallon!
Makes you wonder why anybody would want to inherit this mess and try to find a way out of dark abyss. Only time will tell...

As long as we're breathing, it can always get worse. I believe we've made the first step toward a positive change and as you point out, the road is steep and long to repair the damage and mistakes of the last 8 years.
We're so lucky we don't pay $15+ a gallon like the Europeans.
The fact Obama is stepping up in a time of crisis makes him a better person and more of a hero. Stepping into a rich economy and totally screwing it up, doesn't take talent or brains.
